Email Settings tab
The Email Settings tab allows you to setup the email notifications and autoresponders. The Notification will send the submitted entry to emails you specify while the Autoresponder will email the a custom message and/or the submitted entry to the user who completed the form.
Notification
Your Name. The "From" name that is displayed as the sender of the email.
Reply-to Email. This email address will receive replies to the Notification email. Setting a Reply-to will pre-populate the email address in the users email client when they hit Reply to the Notification email.
Email Subject. The subject line that is displayed for the email. Since content can appear differently in various email clients and programs, avoid certain characters like quotation marks, the @ symbol, or the & signs.
Email To. This setting allows you to enter one or more emails to send the submitted entry. When multiple emails are present, they will be sent individually.
Advanced Settings
From Email. This setting sets the "From" email and can only be customized if SMTP settings have been correctly configured on the VFB Pro > Settings page. For best results, check with your web host to determine what settings to use.
Cc. This setting allows one email to be included as a carbon copy. Carbon copy emails are visible in the email headers of the Notification email.
Bcc. This setting allows one email to be included as a blind carbon copy. Blind carbon copy emails are not visible in the email headers of the Notification email.
Include Attachments. If File Uploads are present, this setting will include the uploaded files with the email.
Templating. The VFB Pro templating system can be used on the Email Subject.
Autoresponder
An autoresponder is different than the Notification email. Autoresponders will automatically send an email receipt to the person that fills out the form. You can customize the message, and specify if a copy of the entry data should be included. Your form must have an email field to use this feature.
